I need help here people, iam getting a laptop here and i have a few questions, for people who know what this stuff is. OK iam making animation here like Naruto type, that good, to say more technicaly iam making animation like Japan does. Now with my laptop here I have these programs iam getting.
Autodesk Maya
Adobe Photoshop
Sony Vegas
Adobe premiere
Now can someone tell me is this the right programs i need to make Japanise animation??
And also iam woried about sound, Can you also tell me about sound effects like gun fire, Do I got the right stuff for it..?

you need adobe after effects
It sounds like you want either Anime Studio or Toon Boom. Idunno about sound effects except that doing it right is an art in itself.
All of the 4 programs are well-known and have a good reputation because they belong to the best in their respective areas.
Maya is a 3D modeling/rendering software.
Photoshop is for image editing/processing.
Vegas and Premiere are for film cutting and editing.
I can’t tell you what else you need but I can tell you that you can’t go terribly wrong with these programs.
Hi, not sure the name of it but maybe adobe flash ( its good even if you just try it)
another good program is “anime Studio” i myself haven’t used it however i hear good things and i have used it’s counter part “Manga studio”. these programs are very similar to photoshop yet different, hard to explain but definately check it out.
Probably the best programs to use would be Anime Studio or Toon Boom, but if you wanted to, you might be able to use Adobe Flash CS3, but it might be a bit more difficult.
As for the sounds, if you want some original sounds I’m told you could use Adobe Audition ( look into it, not entirely sure )
Sony vegas is an excellent tool for editing film, if you could, you might want to incorporate some Adobe After Effects in there for a little bit extra. It’s not entirely needed though so don’t worry if you can’t get it.
First of all, are u planning to do 2D or 3D?
for 3D Maya is good! if you wanna create human, you might want to consider using Poser! it’s really good! Adobe Premiere Pro is a powerful video editing software. it’s also easy to learn. you dont have to worry about the sound quality and collection. usually you’ll be able to find the sound effect. you might be interested to try Adobe After Effect too! As for Photoshop, for me, i think Photoshop is a must-have software for any designer! we have to edit images and etc with it. even if you use 3D Max Studio, you’ll need to use Photoshop to change a pattern of an interface. i mean, if u prefer to have some particular interface, not only plain color for the surface. well, i’m kinda in love with one simple and light video editing called Particle Illusion. it gives you a lot of video effect especially if you have the premium account.
