		<description>Did you check to see if disk management can &#039;see&#039; the drive?  If it can then it is most likely caused by partition and/or formatting information.  I took a disk drive out of a recordable free-view box and placed in into my  PC Windows XP computer and the computer did the same as your PC computer - it didn&#039;t &#039;see&#039; the drive in MY Computer or Windows Explorer.  Disk management recognised the drive and the partition but the computer did not recognise the format of the disk.  I am told that the Mac computer can recognise the FAT32 format but that does not mean that the Mac computer automatically formats the drive to FAT32.  Did you format the drive using the Mac Computer?  If you did then perhaps you could copy all the files that are on the external drive to the Mac computer and then use the PC to re-format the drive to FAT32.</description>
