Toshiba laptops?



Are Toshiba laptops good? Are they reliable? I’m searching for a good laptop and I would like to know. Thanks in advance!

    They are a good laptop. They are not high end processing units but are good for most games and business/personal tasks. They have been around for several years and have always been a good product.

    i have an acer and it’s great.

    my brother has had a toshiba for a few years with no problems. look at a notebook review webpage or magazine for help, they are invaluable.

    I got my father one 3 years ago and he is very happy
    he is not computer savyy and doesn’t speak English!!

    He uses it for listening to music, watching movies, write his word documents, upload photos.

    I have never heard of any issues with them

    I have TOSHIBA laptop ( A100 ) and my friend has it too .
    and we don’t have any problem with it
    It has a special feature : It support windows VISTA .

    Toshiba makes great hardware. But they are now failing miserably on support. The reason? Windows Vista.
    You can get a notebook with pretty good specs, and it will run slower than an old Pentium II because of Vista. And expect problems with your programs and games.
    And the worst part is that Toshiba is intentionally NOT supporting XP for their new models. They are trying to force feed Vista on their customers! Where is the free market now? If you don’t want vista, you should be able to go back to Win XP; but Toshiba doesn’t want you to. If you uninstall vista and go back to XP, expect serious difficulties getting drivers for your system.
    Personally, I will NEVER buy another Toshiba notebook again. Too bad a good product gets ruined by greedy policies.
